On July 16, Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council Armen Grigoryan held a farewell meeting with John Gallagher, the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Armenia, marking the end of his diplomatic mission.
Grigoryan thanked Ambassador Gallagher for his efforts in strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various fields during his tenure, wishing him continued success in future endeavors. Ambassador Gallagher, in turn, expressed gratitude for the support he received during his mission and said he is confident that Armenia–UK relations will continue to advance.
The two also discussed a number of other topics of mutual interest.
The United Kingdom is expected to appoint a new ambassador to Armenia starting in September.
