Russia has declared a state of emergency at the Upper Lars border checkpoint because of adverse weather conditions.
According to the official page of the customs post, the road is closed due to bad weather. At present, 2,543 vehicles are waiting in line, Aliq.ge reports. Additionally, 442 trucks are waiting at the Georgian Kazbegi customs checkpoint.
