Аrmenia, Bulgaria update bilateral transport deal

Armenia and Bulgaria have amended their bilateral agreement on international transport. The protocol was signed by Vardan Kostanyan, Armenian Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, and Grozdan Karajov, Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications.

During his working visit to Sofia, Armenia’s Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, concluded a series of official meetings with a bilateral session with Grozdan Karajov.

The two sides emphasized the importance of strengthening Armenian-Bulgarian relations, particularly in transport, infrastructure, communications, telecommunications, and other areas of mutual interest. They also discussed new opportunities for expanding cooperation and expressed readiness to collaborate on various platforms.

Minister Hayrapetyan thanked his hosts for their hospitality and constructive dialogue, drawing attention to the efficiency of the intergovernmental commission’s work.

Deputy Minister Kostanyan also presented the North-South Road Corridor investment project, highlighting other regionally significant infrastructure initiatives.
