Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, mocked former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan’s recent statements as “fictional essays”.
“Tell Arman Tatoyan to stop writing free-form essays like ‘How I Spent My Summer Vacation’,” Harutyunyan wrote on Facebook. “He used to attach himself to someone in the Church and write these pieces—only for it to turn out he had latched onto a man preparing acts of terrorism. For that, Tatoyan will face at least political responsibility.”
Harutyunyan accused Tatoyan of now “abandoning Archbishop Galstanyan and searching for a new political patron.”
“Tatoyan can’t exist without a boss—history has proven this,” he added.
