Lawyer Varazdat Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook page that the only viable option for regime change in Armenia is initiating an impeachment process.
"The only adequate response to Nikol's campaign to dethrone the Catholicos can be launching a real process to dethrone Nikol himself. All other actions are mere Brownian motion within an agenda dictated by him. At this moment, impeachment is the only proposal for a change in power. Whether it's good or bad, it's the only one. If there's another—let me know," Harutyunyan wrote.
As of early July, there are six signatures under the I Have Honor faction’s draft to express no confidence in the Prime Minister—all from its own MPs. The Hayastan faction had previously stated its readiness to participate with 28 signatures, but I Have Honor clarified that these signatures were not officially included in their document.
