Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a message of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the fatal crash of an An-24 passenger plane that claimed dozens of lives.
“Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, please accept my sincere condolences over the tragic death of passengers aboard the An-24 civil aircraft of Angara Airlines, operating the Khabarovsk–Blagoveshchensk–Tynda route.
Kindly convey my heartfelt sympathy and support to the families who lost loved ones in the crash,” reads the message.
On July 24, an An-24 passenger plane flying the Khabarovsk–Blagoveshchensk–Tynda route disappeared from radar in Russia’s Amur region. Later, rescuers discovered the aircraft's wreckage. All 49 people on board were killed.
