Armenian, U.S. peacekeepers to hold joint drills

The joint Armenian-American military exercise named Eagle Partner 2025 will take place in Armenia from August 12 to 20, according to the Ministry of Defense.

The drill will involve personnel from the Armenian Armed Forces’ peacekeeping brigade, the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Command, and the Kansas National Guard.

The exercise aims to prepare and carry out peacekeeping tasks, with a special focus on medical evacuation procedures.

Its primary goal is to enhance the interoperability of units participating in international peacekeeping missions within the framework of peace operations. The program also aims to promote the exchange of best practices in command and tactical communications and to improve the preparedness of the Armenian peacekeeping unit.

As part of their peacekeeping preparation, units involved in international peace operations regularly take part in such joint exercises and training events in partner countries.
