The Armenian government’s Information and Public Relations Department has neither confirmed nor denied reports circulating in the media and on social networks about a possible upcoming visit by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the United States, reports 1lurer.am .
"In cases of such visits, there is, of course, an official statement. Information can only be considered confirmed once such a statement is released. At this time, as you know, no official announcement has been made. Therefore, please consider any information about the visit as confirmed only after an official statement," the department noted in its comment.
Speculation continues about a potential Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting this Friday in Washington, where Yerevan and Baku are reportedly prepared to declare their intention to sign a peace agreement.
