DOCUMENTS ON TRANSFER OF ARMENIAN ENTERPRISES’ SHARES TO RUSSIA FOR REPAYMENT OF STATE DEBT TO RUSSIA TO BE SIGNED IN MID-JUNE IN YEREVAN

In mid-June the co-chair of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic development Ilya Klebanov will arrive in Armenia to complete the negotiation process on repayment of the Armenian debt to Russia and to sign final documents. As “De-Facto” agency reports, Klebanov stated this at the today meeting with Armenian Premier Andranik Margarian in Moscow. During the meeting, the issues regarding the process of the realization of the reached agreements on repayment of the Armenian debt to Russia were discussed. At the present time, the work on solving the necessary protocol issues is being held. Meanwhile, in the nearest future, the final decision on the issue of transfer of the Razdan thermoelectric power station to Russia might be reached. As the Armenian co-chair of the commission, the Armenian defense minister Serge Sarkisian has stated, the sides came to concrete agreements and it is possible, the final decision will be introduced during 2-3 weeks. As it is known, the Razdan thermoelectric station is included in the list of the enterprises that Armenia is ready to transfer to Russia for debt repayment.
