Pashinyan, Putin discuss global, regional issues

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the significance of their meeting held during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, calling it an effective platform for addressing bilateral agenda items and exploring prospects for future cooperation.

The leaders also discussed a range of issues of regional and international importance during their meeting.

Both sides praised the ongoing active dialogue between Armenia and Russia, highlighting the value of maintaining high-level personal contacts as well as institutional intergovernmental cooperation.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is in China on a working visit accompanied by his wife, Anna Hakobyan. He has met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. As part of the visit, the prime minister will participate in the SCO+ format meeting and related events.
