Pashinyan meets Erdoğan, speaks with Aliyev

Within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The two leaders stressed the importance of steps aimed at establishing stability and peace in the region.

Pashinyan and Erdoğan emphasized the importance of maintaining constructive approaches to foster an atmosphere of mutual trust and promote regional connectivity.

They agreed to continue their dialogue.

Pashinyan is attending the summit in China accompanied by his wife, Anna Hakobyan. Photos shared by Hakobyan show that the couple also had a brief encounter with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The leaders of Turkey and Azerbaijan were accompanied by their spouses during the meetings.

Pashinyan also held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During his visit to China, the prime minister is scheduled to take part in the SCO+ format meeting and various related events.
