A cultural week titled Saroyan Days will take place in Yerevan from September 5 to 11, dedicated to the life and work of the celebrated Armenian-American author William Saroyan. The announcement was made by U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien in a video message.
“Today is the birthday of legendary Armenian-American writer William Saroyan. We are delighted to announce the launch of Saroyan Days. In partnership with the Saroyan Foundation, we’ll be holding a series of events from September 5 to 11, celebrating the author’s life and legacy.
We invite you to rediscover Saroyan and enjoy a full week of theatrical, literary, visual, and other cultural events.
