Armenia receives $17mln in humanitarian aid in H1 2025

In the first half of 2025, Armenia received $17.098 million worth of humanitarian aid, according to data published by the Statistical Committee. This figure represents a 75% decrease compared to the same period in 2024, Armenpress reported.

The largest share of aid consisted of chemical industry products worth $9.534 million. Machinery and equipment followed with $1.867 million, while land, air, and water transport vehicles totaled $1.467 million.

The United States was the leading donor country, providing $4.564 million, which accounted for 26.7% of the total. Compared to the same period last year, U.S. assistance increased by 11.1%.

China ranked second with $2.528 million (14.8% of the total), showing a 2.6-fold increase from last year. Italy was third, providing $1.815 million (10.6% of the total), a 25.5% rise year-on-year.
