Levon Zurabyan, deputy chairman of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), commented on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s recent Facebook post about the difference between the present-day and past Armenian republics.
“Pashinyan’s Armenia differs from pre-Pashinyan Armenia in that before, Armenia sat at the negotiating table, while now it has ended up on the table as a dish.
Pashinyan’s posts resemble the cheerful cries of a beer commercial crab that boils itself with pleasure,” Zurabyan wrote.
Earlier the same day, Pashinyan had written: “What is the difference between today’s Republic of Armenia and the former republics of Armenia? Previously, Armenia existed thanks to other countries, for other countries. Today, the Republic of Armenia exists thanks to itself, thanks to its citizens, for its citizens. Glory to the martyrs, and long live the Republic of Armenia.”
