Russia expects Armenia trade to halve by year-end

Russia expects a sharp decline in trade volume with Armenia by the end of the year, according to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, who made the statement at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, reports TASS.

“As for trade between Russia and Armenia, it has already significantly decreased, and we expect it will drop by half by the end of the year compared to last year. That is, if last year it amounted to $12.4 billion, this year it will likely be around $6 billion, maybe a bit more,” Overchuk emphasized.
