The Prosecutor’s Office of the Kentron and Nork-Marash districts has filed a lawsuit against former Transport and Communication Minister Gagik Beglaryan, demanding the recovery of approximately 77 million drams. The claim is made under the framework of protecting state interests, according to Armenia’s “Datalex” court information system, reports Factor.am .
The case has been assigned to Judge Narine Avagyan.
Two years ago, the General Prosecutor’s Office filed a separate lawsuit against Beglaryan, demanding the confiscation of unlawfully acquired property. That case, also overseen by Judge Avagyan, remains under review.
