Fundamental regulations for Armenia’s Border Electronic Management Information System will now be established by law. The draft amendment to the “Law on the State Border” was presented at the National Assembly’s Defense and Security Committee session, where it received a positive conclusion.
According to Deputy Justice Minister Tigran Dadunts, relations concerning the system are currently regulated only by a government decree, the parliament’s press service reported.
The draft law defines the conditions for accessing the system and for entering data into it.
