Armenia’s Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan met in Paris with Bertrand Buchwalter, adviser to President Emmanuel Macron on Continental Europe and Turkey.
The two sides reviewed the agenda of the Armenia–France strategic cooperation, noting the high level of bilateral political dialogue and reaffirming their commitment to strengthen ties in upcoming stages.
Discussions also focused on the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, highlighting the significance of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity initiative. Both sides emphasized its role in expanding regional connectivity and promoting trade and economic cooperation.
On August 8, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a joint declaration at the White House. In the presence of the leaders, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov initialed a peace and interstate relations treaty.
