National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan commented on the recent sociological surveys published by Gallup International’s Armenian office. He made the statement on his Telegram channel.
“When publishing such a survey, beyond all the figures, it is mandatory to indicate the client’s name and the cost of the service, preferably including VAT and the ruble’s cash exchange rate at the time of payment,” Simonyan wrote.
According to a public poll conducted in Armenia, 12.2% of citizens are ready to vote in favor of constitutional amendments if these contribute to real and lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The data was presented by Aram Navasardyan, head of Gallup International Armenia, based on a survey conducted from August 25 to 30.
Meanwhile, 58% of respondents believe that amending Armenia’s Constitution is an internal matter and that no foreign state, including Azerbaijan, has the right to influence the process.
