With financing from the state budget, reconstruction works are underway on the M-12 Khndzoresk–Nerkin Khndzoresk road, km0+000–km10+100, the Road Department Foundation reports.
This 10.1 km stretch ensures the connection of Nerkin Khndzoresk village with the town of Goris.
Current works on site include construction of sidewalks, installation of drainage systems, laying of asphalt-concrete pavement, and other infrastructure improvements.
The project envisions covering the road with a two-layer asphalt-concrete surface and equipping it with all necessary safety elements.
