According to the official decree, Artyom Sujyan was appointed head of the Prime Minister’s Office for International Legal Representation effective September 10, 2025.
The 28-year-old will replace Liparit Drmeyan, who was dismissed on August 29.
Sujyan previously served as Deputy Minister of Justice from 2022 and, since October 2024, as an aide to Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
Drmeyan’s dismissal followed Prime Minister Pashinyan’s statement that “the government is me — no one can hold a position contradicting mine. If there are people in government with opposing positions, they should resign immediately, or I will dismiss them.” The office had earlier confirmed Armenia’s obligation to comply with Stockholm arbitration rulings related to Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA).
