The Armenian government approved 1 billion drams in co-financing for 26 subsidy programs across eight provinces, targeting local infrastructure development.
At a cabinet meeting, Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Minister Davit Khudatyan presented a draft decision to allocate 1 billion drams to co-finance subsidy programs proposed by communities.
The funding will support projects in eight provinces:
- Aragatsotn – 2 programs
- Ararat – 4 programs
- Armavir – 7 programs
- Lori – 2 programs
- Kotayk – 5 programs
- Shirak – 1 program
- Syunik – 3 programs
- Tavush – 2 programs
Khudatyan also noted that under a separate decision, 917.2 million drams will be reallocated to refinance 35 other initiatives under the participatory budgeting program.
