Papikyan presents defense reforms to NATO ambassadors

On September 12, Armenia’s Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with several ambassadors accredited to NATO.

Papikyan presented the course of defense reforms and the armed forces’ transformation programs, placing special emphasis on NATO’s significant role in these efforts.

The meeting also addressed the current state of Armenia–NATO cooperation, future prospects, as well as regional and international security issues.

Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Vahagn Khachaturyan also received NATO-accredited ambassadors in Yerevan, with discussions focusing on the continuity and further development of Armenia–NATO partnership.
