On September 12, Serdar Kılıç, Turkey’s special envoy for Armenia normalization, arrived in Armenia and expressed gratitude to Ruben Rubinyan, Armenia’s special representative, for the “warm reception.” He posted his thanks on X in response to Rubinyan’s earlier message: “Welcomed Serdar Kılıç to Armenia ahead of our sixth meeting.”
Rubinyan greeted Kılıç at the Margara border checkpoint, where their latest round of talks is set to take place.
Meanwhile, members of the ARF Youth Union staged a protest outside the government building in Yerevan, holding pictures of former Artsakh political and military leaders imprisoned in Baku, in opposition to Kılıç’s visit.
