Armenia’s IT sector grows over 30% in 2025

In the first half of 2025, Armenia’s IT industry turnover increased by 30.4% compared to the same period in 2024, according to Sergey Muradyan, advisor to the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly. He made the remarks during the “State & Tech Bridge” discussion, Armenpress reported.

Muradyan also noted growth in employment within the sector: “In June–July alone, the number of employees in the industry increased by 878.”

The discussion featured participation from Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Ruben Simonyan, Ministry Secretary General Davit Gasparyan, First Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Vrezh Mkhitaryan, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ruben Sargsyan, and representatives of the Ministry of Finance.

Representatives from major international companies, including NVIDIA, DataArt, ServiceTitan, Siemens, AMD, and others, were also present.

Key topics included tax incentives for the IT sector, tools to promote research and development (R&D), and features of tax administration. The event aimed to strengthen dialogue between government and the IT industry to address legislative implementation challenges and support sustainable sector growth.
