Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated that Armenia is ready at any moment to begin consultations on the place and time of signing a peace treaty.
He noted that the details of the Trump Route initiative will be clarified through contacts, discussions, and negotiations between the delegations of Armenia and the United States, 1lurer.am reports.
“As for Azerbaijan, there is already a shared understanding, expressed in the signed Washington Declaration, which affirms that unblocking will proceed under the principles of territorial integrity, inviolability of borders, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of both countries, with reciprocal advantages,” Mirzoyan said.
The minister stressed again that the agreed-upon points are the ones written and published in official documents, and “other verbal interpretations are not essential.”
“As we declared both at the time of initialing and earlier, when the text was agreed in mid-March, we are ready to start consultations on the signing’s time and place immediately. We remain ready today as well,” Mirzoyan added.
On September 20, the Civil Contract party congress took place at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.
