From January to June 2025, the number of salaried employees in Armenia rose by 5%, Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan told parliament’s Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs while presenting the state budget’s half-year performance, Armenpress reported.
The minister explained that the number of registered unemployed continued to decline during this period, while the labor market showed positive momentum.
“In January–June, the number of salaried workers increased by 5%, mainly due to growth in employment in trade, construction, public administration, and defense,” Hovhannisyan said.
