During a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the progress of Armenia’s strategically significant energy programs was reviewed. Central to the discussion were proposals for constructing a new nuclear power unit, with attention to its technical specifications, financial viability, and safety protocols.
Officials and experts at the meeting presented various ways for international cooperation with partners and organizations, addressing financing models, technological solutions, and potential project timelines.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of sustained work along the proposed directions, taking into account the opinions and observations voiced during the meeting.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is currently on a working visit to the Russian Federation. On September 25, he will participate in the Global Atomic Week forum in Moscow.
