On September 24, in New York, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Mongolian Foreign Minister Batmunkh Battsetseg to discuss the expansion of bilateral ties and the implementation of concrete initiatives in areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Mirzoyan and Battsetseg signed a protocol amending the agreement between the governments of Armenia and Mongolia on the mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and official passports.
Mirzoyan emphasized Armenia’s readiness to further develop the legal framework for bilateral relations and fully utilize the potential for sectoral cooperation.
The two ministers also exchanged views on cooperation within multilateral platforms, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
