Armenia, Russia hold consultations on int’l legal issues

The foreign ministries of Armenia and Russia held bilateral consultations focused on international legal matters. According to Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting was held under the 2025–2026 consultation program.

The Russian delegation was headed by Maksim Musykhin, Director of the Legal Department of Russia’s Foreign Ministry, while the Armenian side was led by Nelly Saroyan, Head of the Department of International Treaties and Law at Armenia’s Foreign Ministry, Sputnik Armenia reports.

The parties discussed a broad range of issues of mutual interest, including developments in international justice and criminal law, as well as cooperation within the United Nations and other international bodies.

They agreed to continue dialogue on a number of sector-specific initiatives.
