The Erebuni-Yerevan festivities will begin on October 11, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced.
“Dear residents of Yerevan, starting from October 11, we launch the Erebuni-Yerevan celebrations. We invite all citizens of Armenia to come to Yerevan and celebrate the birthday of our beloved city,” he said, as quoted by Radar Armenia.
The mayor added that this year the celebrations will follow a new concept, concentrating Yerevan’s best events into just one or two days.
According to him, all the most popular festivals will be held within this short timeframe.
He also noted that foreign guests will participate in the celebrations. On October 11, the festivities will open with a small electronic music festival at Diana Abgar Park.
