During a meeting held in Warsaw, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his Lithuanian counterpart Kęstutis Budrys explored new prospects for expanding cooperation.
The ministers reviewed the current state of Armenia–Lithuania partnership, highlighting the positive momentum of bilateral political dialogue and the friendly relations built on shared values.
Mirzoyan expressed gratitude to Lithuania for supporting Armenia’s democratic agenda, resilience-building initiatives, and efforts to deepen cooperation with the European Union.
The sides also discussed upcoming engagements within the EU framework, as well as existing mechanisms for promoting sectoral cooperation.
Mirzoyan and Budrys exchanged views on current regional developments. The Lithuanian minister welcomed the August 8 agreements reached in Washington, including the preliminary signing of the peace treaty.
The Armenian Foreign Minister, in turn, stressed the importance of opening communications based on agreed fundamental principles, noting this could enhance regional connectivity.
*On September 29, at the opening of the Warsaw Security Forum, Ararat Mirzoyan was welcomed by President Katarzyna Pisarska and the forum’s founder, Kazimierz Pułaski Foundation President Zbigniew Pisarski.
Mirzoyan also met with Zbigniew Pisarski to discuss opportunities for expanding cooperation between the Yerevan Dialogue and the Warsaw Security Forum.*
