Wizz Air CEO Roland Tischner has announced the suspension of Yerevan–Vienna flights.
According to Tischner, the decision stems from increased taxes and charges at Vienna Airport, prompting the airline to close its base in the Austrian capital, Radar Armenia reported.
“As part of a phased process, flights from Vienna will be suspended starting in March. We will later announce alternative destinations,” Tischner stated.
