Robert Simonyan has been crowned world champion in the 58 kg weight category at the World Youth and Junior Sambo Championships held in Indonesia, according to the Armenian Sambo Federation.
He defeated Tajikistan's Anushervon Nazardozai in the final with a score of 5:2.
In the 71 kg category, Gor Shatveryan won a bronze medal.
