The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs reports that the online application process remains open for forcibly displaced families from Artsakh seeking support under Armenia’s housing assistance program.
So far, 3,020 families have received housing certificates, with 1,044 of them already using the benefits provided under the program.
The assistance is offered in the following formats:
- Certificates to purchase an apartment (including in under-construction buildings) or a private house,
- Certificates to build a private house,
- Support for repayment of an existing mortgage loan.
Each family member is eligible for support ranging from 3 to 5 million AMD.
Applications can be submitted through the platform.
The Ministry emphasized that the program is designed to address the long-term housing needs of displaced families using accessible financial tools in various formats.
On September 19, 2023, Azerbaijan launched a full-scale military offensive against Artsakh, leading to the region’s disarmament and forced dissolution under pressure from Baku. Following this, over 100,000 people were forcibly displaced to Armenia.
