Former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan called it strange that his name is being linked to the Wings of Unity political initiative led by former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan.
“People can look into teacups and make assumptions about my involvement in various structures,” Sargsyan said, responding to a journalist’s observation that Tatoyan’s new political force is being associated with him, Sputnik Armenia reports.
He also briefly addressed the emergence of new political movements: “I wish all new initiatives success.”
Arman Tatoyan recently announced he will run in the 2026 parliamentary elections with his “Wings of Unity” initiative, which also includes former State Revenue Committee Chairman Davit Ananyan.
