As part of an ongoing criminal investigation, the Anti-Corruption Committee has arrested the rector and deputy rector of the Khachatur Abovyan State Pedagogical University. The news was reported by 1lurer.am, citing official sources.
The two top university officials are accused of creating and leading a criminal organization composed of various university employees. The charges include large-scale embezzlement, fraud, and accepting bribes.
Several other staff members from the university have also been detained in connection with the case.
