Yerevan Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan announced that a tender has been launched for the installation of 384 new public transport shelters across the city.
“By the end of the year, 40 stops will be equipped with digital timetable screens,” he said, according to Radar Armenia.
Mayor Tigran Avinyan added that six smart shelters are already operational with display screens showing real-time schedules.
“We will reach 40 by year-end,” he confirmed.
Grigoryan also mentioned that a tender to purchase 45 new trolleybuses has been launched this year, with funding already secured.
“Today is the deadline for signing the agreement with the supplier company,” he noted.
