Grigoryan meets Azerbaijani activists in Yerevan

Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan has announced that on October 22 he met with participants of a bilateral roundtable discussion held in Yerevan, which brought together representatives of Armenian and Azerbaijani civil society.

“I highly value the holding of such meetings within the framework of the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process. These initiatives aim to foster interpersonal communication. I emphasized that engaging various layers of the public will only reinforce peace,” Grigoryan wrote.

According to him, civil society representatives expressed their gratitude to the Armenian side for organizing the event and ensuring a positive atmosphere. The participants stressed the importance of continuing such initiatives to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation.

Grigoryan noted that in the second part of the meeting, he answered the attendees’ questions.

It was revealed by the Fact Investigation Platform that among the Azerbaijani experts visiting Armenia was Dilara Efendiyeva, one of the “eco-activists” involved in the blockade of the Lachin Corridor.
