A court in Armenia’s Shirak region has ordered the two-month detention of Ruben Mkhitaryan, a lawyer and representative of the “In Our Way” movement. The court's decision was announced by the movement itself.
Ruben Mkhitaryan is the son of renowned weightlifting coach Ashot Mkhitaryan.
According to the movement’s statement, Ruben Mkhitaryan is accused of participating in mass disturbances in Gyumri and of interfering with the administration of justice or the investigation of a case, allegedly in coordination with a group.
