Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan told Parliament that Armenia is engaged in very intensive dialogue with Turkey.
“I view this dialogue positively and must express optimism about it,” he said, as reported by Aysor.am .
Mirzoyan also expressed hope that the process would soon yield tangible and concrete results.
He stated that both sides are moving in a space of mutual understanding and constructiveness, allowing progress toward normalization without preconditions.
As part of the Armenia-Turkey normalization process, Turkey’s special representative Serdar Kılıç visited Armenia on August 12 via the Margara border checkpoint, where he was received by Armenian envoy Ruben Rubinyan. He later met with both Rubinyan and Foreign Minister Mirzoyan at the Foreign Ministry in Yerevan.
