Armenia has officially joined the International Fund for Public Interest Media (IFPIM). On October 29, during the 8th Paris Peace Forum, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and IFPIM Executive Director Nishant Lalwani signed a memorandum of understanding.
“With the signing of this document, Armenia formally becomes a member country in the Target Region of the Fund. This partnership will support the promotion of media literacy and the development of independent, fact-based journalism in Armenia,” reads the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
