The Anti-Corruption Committee has confirmed that National Security Service (NSS) agents entered the chemical unit stationed in Echmiadzin, as reported by Factor.am .
According to the committee, the operation followed a report of an apparent crime submitted by the Ministry of Defense’s Military Police. The Anti-Corruption Committee is handling the case in accordance with legal procedures.
“If necessary, additional information will be provided,” the committee stated.
Earlier, the newspaper Hraparak reported that NSS officers had entered the base and detained several individuals, including high-ranking military personnel.
