The company Sil Insurance, which belongs to the family of MP Khachatur Sukhiasyan of the parliamentary Civil Contract faction, has again won the insurance‑package tender of the Yerevan Municipality and its subordinate enterprises. This was announced by the Health Department head, David Karapetyan, during the procedural meeting of the city administration.
“From February 13, a health‐insurance package is in effect for employees of the Yerevan Municipality and its subordinate state non‑commercial organisations (SNCOs). The contract was concluded with the tender‑winning company Sil Insurance,” Karapetyan said, citing Panorama.am .
He added that within a month, the family members of the insured can also be covered: children up to age 21, and spouse and parents up to age 70.
Karapetyan also urged division heads to encourage their staff to undergo preventive medical examinations, noting that last year of the 15,000 insured persons, only about 2,000 completed preventive checks.
