Ex-President Sargsyan: I do not see peace

Armenia’s third president, Serzh Sargsyan, stated that he does not see peace, responding to journalists ahead of a court session. His comments followed media references to grain imports via Azerbaijan and ongoing peace rhetoric.

“I don’t see peace, I simply don’t,” said Sargsyan, according to Panorama.am .

The Anti-Corruption Court is holding an unplanned hearing in the case against Sargsyan. When asked about reports that restrictions on his freedom have been lifted in two cases, possibly to impose new measures, Sargsyan responded, “Most likely, the session will happen, we’ll see.”
