On November 5, Armenian Ambassador to the United States Narek Mkrtchyan held a meeting in Washington with Dr. Daniel Baer, Senior Vice President for Policy Research and Director of the Europe Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

The two discussed the current state of Armenia-U.S. relations, recent regional developments, and opportunities to deepen cooperation with the Carnegie Foundation.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan and Dr. Baer expressed confidence that continued dialogue and expanding collaboration would foster deeper and more constructive mutual understanding on regional issues.

Earlier, the U.S. State Department announced that the U.S. government plans to establish initial working groups with Armenia and Azerbaijan by the end of the year.
