From January to September 2025, a total of 1,734,247 tourists visited Armenia, marking a 0.8% increase (13,002 more visitors) compared to the same period in 2024, according to data from the Statistical Committee.
Russian nationals continued to make up the largest share, accounting for 43% of all tourists. In total, 713,479 Russians visited Armenia in this period, although that figure represents a 3.7% decrease from the previous year.
Georgia ranked second with 210,247 visitors, followed by Iran with 138,010.
From the United States, 50,599 citizens visited Armenia, followed by China (34,446), France (28,241), Germany (25,699), India (20,843), Ukraine (20,171), Italy (16,202), and Belarus (12,580).
In the same nine-month period, three tourists from Azerbaijan visited Armenia, staying an average of 8 days. No Azerbaijani tourists were recorded during this period in 2024.
9,115 tourists from Turkey visited Armenia this year, a 6.2% increase compared to the previous year.
