Former Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan has been arrested, according to his brother, Avetik Kerobyan. The news was confirmed by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty's Armenian service.
Avetik Kerobyan stated that a search was conducted at his brother’s residence but claimed it was unrelated to his time in office. The family is currently trying to understand the rationale behind law enforcement’s actions.
