Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated on Facebook that Armenia must regain Artsvashen and other occupied sovereign territories through the current border delimitation process.
“As a result of delimitation, we must reclaim Artsvashen and other occupied sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia,” he wrote.
Earlier, Ayhan Hajizadeh, spokesperson for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, said Baku continues to prioritize the “return of four enclaves,” referring to “three villages in the Gazakh district and the Karki village in Nakhichevan.”
On August 28, Pashinyan had emphasized that no Armenian government could ignore the enclave issue, since Armenia also claims Artsvashen.
