On November 11, Edward Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, met with members of the command staff participating in the four-day operational training that began on November 10. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Defense administrative complex, the ministry reported.
Asryan delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of operational preparedness for senior military leadership.
During the assembly, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan spoke about ongoing reforms in the armed forces and addressed regional security issues.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who also took part in the gathering, underlined the need for the army’s continued modernization and consistent reform efforts.
